Community facilities and infrastructure under threat

The NSW State Government is attempting to take local government's “developer contributions”. This is the money councils levy developers to help pay for local infrastructure such as playgrounds, sports fields, libraries and parks.

The Government is forcing councils to choose between cancelling projects and raising rates.

On behalf of our communities, we urge the Government to withdraw the changes currently before Parliament.
